ADM can sell you everything you need for 3500, but their complete kit is still only 4995 so less than 2k for the supercharger itself

With this knowledge, it looks to me like everyone trying to unload their used LT4 supercharger unit is asking for too much money. I think that member PRAY described that he spent more on a used LT4 unit and buying the parts needed to use it (even with his discount), than the complete ADM kit is selling for.

Why is it ths way?

So we were the first to sink thousands of dollars and man hours into making the best most affordable supercharger upgrade available to the 2016-2018 Camaros, yet we still see people trying to put forced induction on their 40k dollar plus car for less than $3000.

What gives

Most of the used takeoff LT4 Superchargers are from corvettes, they do not fit Camaros as a direct bolt on. You must have our work update done to the inlet,You must have a valley cover from an lt4,you must have lt4 to lt1 adapter plates as well as a little extension pipe. These parts cost money.

Now on to the rest -

LT-4Balancer,LT-4 Belts,LT-4 Tensioner Brackets,Idler Pulleys,Plugs,New Lower radiator hose,new precooler hoses both left and right,intercooler pump,center intercooler,more intercooler hoses,adm resivoir kit,air intake elbow, oembrake booster pipes,map sensor,maf extension,map extension,evap extension,relay harness for intercooler pump with proper connectors.

$4995.00 is a smoking deal by todays standards for 100-150 rwhp in my opinion.

Just saying

People just want everything for free or super cheap... Beats me why. I would rather pay for things being done right. If you don't, one shouldn't be allowed to complain about any discomfort imo. As long as they don't, whatever right? Haha. Spending a little extra goes a LOOOONG way. Most common thing I can think of is not getting your headers coated and/or wrapped. It goes and melts crap then you see/hear them complain about it... Or they could've just spent the extra 150-300 bucks to get it coated...

You guys at ADM truly did a fantastic job with the conversion of LT1 to LT4 SC. I know for a fact that even GM had people visiting for it and that was way before ZL1 was even announced, let alone in production! With your R&D into it, it allows camaro LT1 Camaro folks to grab Vette LT4 SC's instead of just waiting for the very few ZL1 guys will take off their SC's for now. Zo6 LT4 SC is hell of a lot more accessible than the ZL1 ones.

5k is a great price, probably about 7k installed being said and done. Which is still a good 2 to 4k cheaper than let's say getting other units bought and installed. LT4 is a smaller unit and does produce more heat than the TVS2300s which isn't really an issue for the SS since we got 10 heat exchangers/coolers.
