E-force engine covers...heat?
The sice covers on the E-force are made out of cast and after thinking anyone see an issue with heat build up in them? Im thinking about keeping them off and only put them on for shows and stuff any thoughts?

I have taken them off when I went to the track, but have just left them on otherwise. They do get pretty hot, don't see how that's helping anything. I've seen several on here that keep them off. I would like to see someone design something smaller, thinner to match up with the E-Force's intake.

You could take your hood off. That would be even better.

My installer suggested keeping them off...so I did. There is someone on here that has some custom valve cover on his...I think it's either SSLary or SlimSS. I asked for a picture...I look and see if I still have it.

My mistake..it was TeddyP25. They arn't as "flashy or large as the Maggie covers...more of a classic valve cover..you could paint them if you wanted. This is not my engine...it's TeddyP25's. The signature at the bottom is NOT for this engine....looks like he's running a smaller SC pulley and has a super damper so probably well above where I'm at. |

I just take them off after the 1st drag race, then wait for the engine to cool down a little and put them back on.
