I bought my DSSVs off an SCCA racer going to coilovers years ago, so there must be some options since he was looking to improve his lap times.

Check out this thread from the ZL1 forum on a member who switched to Pedders coilovers

For those buying current Canyon/Colorados that have Multi-matic shocks or looking at buying a C6 or C7 Corvette, beware. General Motors is following Mary Barra into the ditch by not supporting these cars.

generally speaking I would assume that an Ohlins that is better exists. Just don't know which one.

Can the Gen 6 ZL1 1LE shocks be fitted on the Gen 5 Z/28?

Maybe we need just one dealer that's willing to place a direct order to MultiMatic?

Well looks like there are a few companies out there. Detroit Speed which uses JRI, MCS, Ohlines(Road & Track), and Bilstein PSS10. All are true coilover, with the Bilstein rear springs factory fit(front and rear springs are Progressive). The others use 60mm springs, so you can change out the spring rates. Bilstein are not interchangeable, unless they make a custom set of springs. Rebuilding coilers about every 2 years if only street driven. Bilsteins should be lifetime warranty, so that seems to be a better deal. Only wish the Bilsteins were linear springs.

Its too bad Camaros don't have the market like mustangs. I wish I had kept it, Kenny Brown and Cortex are excellent suspension companies. And they have all the bushings, etc.

Just for example, when you get lowering springs on the Camaro, you have to cut the bump stops, yes its free, buts it nice to see that on a mustang you can buy shorter bump stops.
