Probably planning more track cars lol. Would be cool to have a better breakdown of all three, what trims are selling and fleet vs retail etc..

Expect more plant closures with associated delays on ordered cars.

One of the most important factors in my opinion is pricing. For instance, I am currently seriously considering a lightly used C7 Stingray instead of a new 2SS and I might not be alone...

The truth hurts. This Gen's Camaro is overpriced and impractical for the majority of potential buyers and many of the previous owners aren't willing to upgrade for numerous reasons. This Gen is also an engineering marvel but it has flopped at the Box Office. The fact that the Challenger is outselling it is telling enough.

I guess we'll have to see if the new Z/28 will help future sales. This is very sad and disappointing to see each month.

No way the Z28 will help with sales much, those will only be a small percentage of the total sales, majority are V6/I4 and then V8 and then ZL1/Z28.

Well what's funny is GM gave the Camaro fans exactly what they wanted:

A smaller, lighter car with more power and a better interior.

The problem comes in that a lot of the people asking for the smaller/lighter portion of that didn't connect the dots where that meant less room/more cramped/less practical.

Basically the very embodiment of "be careful of what you wish for".

I was being sarcastic
This was the argument many used on this forum when the initial sales were low; many believed the arrival of new models would increase sales.

100% agree, apart for the z/28 point.

I strongly believe that the 5th gen mid-cycle refresh is what killed it. Many traded in their pre-2013 5th gen for what was just a facelift, and those same people are probably not doing the same "mistake" and upgrading to the 6th gen, at least not any time soon.

I think the lack of a usable backseat and price is killing sales.

Camaro is dead. Even with the 20% off, it still doesn't sell. I don't get it. Great performer, and great looking. I still get people complimenting, and giving me thumbs up everyday a year later.

Many people are just being smarter with their money. Just think about how fast the current $75K+ Z/28 became obsolete. Chevy has managed to impress and tick people off at the same time.

No kidding... to make the fairly inexpensive 6th Gen 1LE about as good around the track as the $75K+ z/28 was a big slap in the face.

In all honesty, there are NO 20% off offers right now. When they had the offer running, the sales were much much better and that was Oct-Nov last year...

They could try and market the car a bit in my opinion, seems like they just expect motortrend and road and track to be their salesmen. I see ten challenger/charger commercials a day, and they make the cars look badass. I only recall seeing the Camaro in the one where they pointed it out as the most dependable sporty car. Trying to sell a sports car in the same way as the cars in their lineup isn't going to work
