2015 Tahoe

Looking at a new SUV for the wife. Looked at most all of the models out there. At this point we're down to the Grand Cherokee Summit and the Tahoe LT.
Any input of those who own either, would be appreciated.

for the difference in money i would get the suburban over the tahoe,,, the extra wheelbase gives you way more room and better ride. i have had my suburban 4 years now and couldnt be happier with it.

There's a reason GM owns the full size SUV market.

If I could afford it, the Tahoe hands down.

I'd go with the diesel Grand Cherokee if it was me, unless you need the extra room. Tahoe's are definitely nice though.

Looks like we've narrowed it to the Tahoe. Let the negotiations begin! Anyone have a link to dealer invoice pricing?

You can't go wrong with a GM full size SUV

I bought the 2015 Tahoe LT for my wife and love it. For me... having 3 small children I would do the Suburban if I could go back. I just need the extra room. You can get the LT pretty well equiped. I have leather and all the power fold down seats, Bluray player, and 20's. Its a fantastic vehicle and the fuel economy is not too bad either.

For what it's worth, I will never buy a Chrysler product so I will not recommend the Grand Cherokee over the Tahoe. Though I prefer GM vehicles, I'm not a GM fanboy, it's just that I know family who have had bad experiences with Dodge and Jeep vehicles. Why the Tahoe over the Traverse? The Tahoe is a body-on-frame platform true?

Tahoe is BOF RWD/4WD and Traverse is unibody FWD/AWD.

Suburban/Tahoe for the win.
My wife and I have had a Suburban in our stable since 1994. Last year, we traded in our 97, that we bought new, for a 2012 with just 8000 miles on it.

Wife doesn't like the look of the Traverse and I'm not a FWD guy., I like my RWD. Coming from a 05 Pathfinder, Tahoe is closer on interior room. Plus more room for the driver. Third row comes in handy for hauling extra butts!
