New Malibu

We tried to work a good deal on a 16 SS sedan, but there were no good incentives for a lease. I ended up really liking the new Malibu. We picked up a fully loaded 2LZ turbo in Butte Red. Great car and pretty fun to drive. It has all the features of our 2SS and a ton more. Really freaky how it will sort of drive itself with cruise control on and with park assist.

Yes, that's my Camaro in the background.

Congrats! GM hit a home run with this generation Malibu.

We had a 14 1LT. This is a huge improvement. Couldn't agree more with you and thank you!

Funny, I wouldn't have noticed the camaro if you hadn't pointed it out.

Lol. Yes, we really love the Malibu. Reminds me of the 1998 Regal GS we bought off the showroom floor. Do we even own a Camaro now? On race day, we do!

I like the color, though not the name of it. I liked the last year's model, though I think I am in the minority.

Looks a lot better than the older model. I have to say though the bow tie placement in the front looks out of place...IDK maybe it's me.

I like it. My daughter has a 2006 Malibu and she really likes the new one. Cultivating a brand loyalist?

These things look great in person, always catch myself doing a double take when one drives by.

The new Malibus look very nice. I test-drove a Premier 2.0T, but it didn't feel like it had 250 hp (maybe it just needed more break-in time?) and I found the trunk to be too narrow. What did they do with all that wasted trunk space, anyway?

I love the aesthetics of GM designed cars, but they have world class talent for making cabin and trunk spaces smaller than you would think they are from the outside of the car.

It has a weird physical click that you have to push the pedal through to go WOT. Not sure why. Our car will move pretty well for what it is.
