If I had the A8 that's how I'd run it. AFM in my pickup sucks, it's really noticeable.

Chevy's Design Plan
No one saw this coming, didn't they? Who knew Cars would share the same design plan.

Then, GM threw us a curve ball with the 6th gen design and screwed things up again. Hopefully, the 7th gen will get things back on track. |

I personallly think the 6th Gen should have been the new return.. the 6th Gen is superior in every way except price.

I never really understood the desire for "retro"...Leave the past unmolested, and beautiful the way it was. The 2008 Challenger was the closest any company in recent history has gotten to a "retro" car, short of the Thunderbird...and I look at that car as a bloated abomination of a design.
When the 2006 Camaro concept came out, the designers made no apologies for the "retro", and even billed it as a modern interpretation of the original lines, and character of the car, but NOT a retro design...and I liked that. As far as I'm concerned, leave well enough alone, and if you like retro that much - go buy an old '69...or better: build one! |

And I actually agree with how they did the 5th gen Camaro...it was the right choice IMO. I don't want another retro car at this point, I want them to keep pushing the envelope while still remaining true to the style of car.

The 2005 mustang was also very true to the look of the original.
I prefer the cars to look like an evolution of the original look of the cars. Similar to the 911 Porsche. Even the 2018s look like 911s. Same shape, profile, signatures, etc. You should be able to immediately identify a Camaro, challenger, or mustang. I think that is the case now with all three especially the Challenger but that car isn't even an evolution. It looks almost exactly like the original except bigger. Lol The fox body mustangs didn't look like mustangs. The failed Holden, GTO did not resemble a GTO. Same for the 4th gen Camaros in my opinion. |

Take a look at this picture and compare the shoulder, roof and hoodlines. The 6th Gen still resembles the lines of the first Camaro. It's just a way more modern approach that fits the new true sportcar performance that the Camaro delivers.
Facelift will go back to the big upper grille and two round rear lights per side, so I guess it will look more retro. |
