For your peace of mind. I made sure the shop runner told the attendant to put 93 octane in the car. He wasn't going to originally.

I saw a 1SS in this color last night. It's a great color in person, even in cloudy conditions.
I've seen many posts suggesting this is the same color as seen on Cadillacs, but it appears lighter and more metallic to my eye. I saw the Cadillac in the sun, and the Camaro when it was cloudy, and the Camaro's metallic flakes were more visible, and the paint appeared to be a bit darker shade of blue. Congrats on the purchase! |

Those pictures make that color really pop and look good. I looked at a hyper blue 2SS in the showroom last night and it wasn't as impressive as the pictures made it look. Maybe I need to see one out side in the sun light?

I don't think any pictures do justice to the gen6. You really gotta see it in person to release how everything comes together as one. Badges to stripes to stance to exterior/interior design. Hyper blue still looks better than garnet red in pictures but they both look fantastic in person. Shades do change when they are in shadow vs out in the sun too.
