Lifting the Rear End
Anyone know if it's possible to lift the back end of the car at the Rear Diff?
I'm thinking I can use a piece of 4x4 on a jack and lift just the ass end. I want to be able to rotate (spin, not swap) the back tires in my garage. |

Use the rear cradle as the lift point, not the diff.

Would love to but I'm using a floor jack, single lift point.
Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean by "cradle" |

The rear cradle is the main structure in the rear that the suspension components tie into. It’s directly behind the diff, looks like an I-beam almost (painted black).

Absolutely no problem lifting with the diff. I block of wood between the floor jack and the housing, raises just fine.
