Mine is slated for production of this week. Ordered on the 17th of January or something like that, but it seems like only a week or two ago. Time is already flying so hopefully it doesn't take too long from now until delivery...not that it's clean enough or warm enough up here to drive it anyways...

Ordered a 1SS 1LE in mosaic black. Only ever driven a 6spd turbo 6th gen before, and that was ok so I figured this should be more than adequate haha

How bout you?

Have seen a mosaic black, they are pretty sweet! I have a friend with the a Hyper Blue turbo, and it actually gets up and goes pretty nicely. Although, yes, the 1SS will definitely be a little of an upgrade.

Getting a v8 2SS M6 HotWheels 50th Anniversary Edition Convertible in Crush Orange with magnetic ride, navigation, and NPP exhaust. It is a 50th birthday present.

Currently have a 5th Gen 2013 Hot Wheels V8 Auto Coupe in Kinetic Blue Metallic and as well a 6th gen 2017 V8 2SS M6 50th Anniversary Convertible in KnightFall Grey Metallic with navigation and NPP exhaust.

Really love my Hot Wheels, but the 6th gen ride is a lot smoother.
Am in a good position right now so will be able to keep my original Hotty (besides as an Auto she is much better/easier for drag racing) and as well we will be keeping the 2017....we however will likely be selling our Corvette later this year....will have to see for sure.

Ahhh nice. I haven't really looked into the hot wheels edition and what it includes. I wish I had that kind of space to store multiple cars haha. I moved last year and have a single garage so now I'm finally able to get a proper summer car and also have somewhere to keep it. Timing works out well too being able to do this at 26 too. Figured if I'm in a position to do this easily at this point, why wait? Lol

That is great that you can get a wonderful car like this at 26! We started young with our family, so waited until our child was an adult (she is not 32) to have a bit more fun with our cars.

Yes a garage is great. We have a 6000 sq ft detached garage that can hold 6 cars and as well a 2.5 car attached garage. Years of being responsible, investing, keeping debt under control, staying out of trouble, and only having one child, helped contribute to being in our situation. We really should start saving more, but we also believe in that things work out for a reason and that we should enjoy our life now, not when we are 80 and our mobility possibly compromised.

Looks like my car is slated for this week too. Can't wait! I have a 1SS 1LE on order in Red Hot with a 6 speed. Stepping up to a faster track day car!

Yea I know what you mean. I've spent the last 10 years working hard and getting everything else set up before thinking about toys. Basically doing all the responsible things like investments and rental properties so it was time to treat myself.

Ah nice another 1LE rolling through as well. The more the better!

Looks like my car was built yesterday! Now the long wait for shipping...

Hopefully it'll show up in time to take advantage of the $2500 competitive cash allowance (unless there's some rule about ordered vehicles, hopefully not).

Heard mine was built Monday and is being shipped. Contact at the dealer was saying maybe see it next week or the week after.

Congrats! Maybe we will get to see it in Kamloops for the West Coast Rally put on by the Canada clubs!

Lol sadly I don't think I would ever be able to carve out that much free time to make it out there and back. 6-day work weeks and no vacations tend to put the kibosh to such events haha
