Was wiping off my headlights today after a wash turned the headlights on and I noticed that there were finger prints/smudges on the projector lens of both the right and left headlights. Its only noticeable when the HIDs are on.

The car is about a week old, I'm wondering if this is something that would count as a factory defect, as the only way finger prints could possibly get on the projector lens is during the assembly of the headlight. I made a thread in the defects forum but was not getting any feed back on it.

Also wondering if anyone else could check theirs and see if they have something similar. I can post pictures if needed, but its obvious when you see it, literally looks like someone touched the projector lens with a greasy finger!

Took a week off to spend time with my son before he goes back to school. I also bought a Camaro last week that he loves because of Transformers and Bumblebee. We are also big train fans so we went to a park near the Hudson River in NY and sat by the river watching trains go by all afternoon. With the top down and the cool breeze afforded to us by the mountains and the shade, it was a really awesome time, just me and my son.

I have the same type of film on both my Camaro and Q7. Works really well to block heat.

I went into Discount Tire a few days ago and got the road hazard warranty for the run flats. $136 total. I would guess some of the other large tire chains would do something similar.

They sold you a warranty on tires you didn't buy from them? Didn't know that was possible. Have to look into it. Mr Tire about 2 miles away.

The problem with this world is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be penalties for stupidity,
but why don't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem solve itself.
