Anyone hit 300?
Has anyone hit 300 Hp or higher (at the wheels) without forced induction yet? I would love to hear some stories, and if so, definitely the set up...

Bmorecam! 290 on paper but his dyno read a little lower than others. I am sure he would of have brought 300 or more on the paper if he had a chance to dyno after he ported the inlet of the head and plenum cover. Ohhhhh...alnost forgot. He had 3.91 gears I think. Gears take about 10 HP from the dyno. There's your 300

Yeah bmor was right about there. Forgetting the dyno numbers, my goal is to hit 12.99 before the end of this summer!

Idk once I put all of my mods are i'm going right to the track. I believe there are a few members here that are pretty close. If the Mace cam's RnD come out this summer its easily achievable.

With a manual, it would be just over 350...which shouldn't be out of reach with the mods we have available now.

I hit 13.5@(cant remember), 2.1 60' around 300HP, 284HP (recorded)to be exact but our dyno read about 5-7% lower than other dyno. we also only had e85 tune, long tube header, no cats and exhaust, still with stock intake. Comparing with our last dyno where we pulled 290 and 269tq, comparing to the e85 dyno, we had waaaaaaay less off peak HP and tq but still pulle13.5! I say about low 13's are definitely possible with no major modification and all bolt ons. With Mace/Bcam cross ram porting with 25mm insulator alone there's 31HP and 33tq! Across the whole range! I wouldn't be surprised if we get into at least 12.999!
V6 n/a camaro in 2012 is going to break records! Now with cams and ported head and adding cross ram porting things are going to get into FI territory! But more importantly, is going too be very interesting to see what kind of times we are going to see Can't wait Mace team USA! |

Sounds like our V6's are the best bang for the buck after all. |
