Why isn't there a 6th generation Camaro SS in Forza Horizon?
It didn't exist in 4 and it doesn't exist in 5. In real life, I drive a 2021 Camaro 2SS, so it's a little frustrating that I can't have one in Horizon. The ZL1s and the fifth-generation Z/28 are not interchangeable. It only irritates me because the Ford Mustang GT, as well as the GT350, GT500, and other models, are constantly in stock.

I bought Forza 3 specifically because it does have the 2016 SS but it was gone afterwards.

The SS was in FH3 and FM7. I am pretty sure they decided that it is too redundant to have the SS and ZL1 models in the same game, just like they removed the 2015 Mustang GT for FH4. Who knows why they decided to keep the 18 GT even though they have the GT350 and GT500 models too.
To me it's just bad that the cars they included are build wrong. The ZL1 1LE features a red instead of a black 3rd brake light. The GT500 has the 2015 taillights, even though it should have the refresh boomerang taillights. The models had these flaws in FH4 and they didn't even fixed that for FH5 I am not sure if Chevy has to pay the developer to add the cars, of if the developers have to pay for the licence of the cars. Which way it is, I think the deciding people just calculated that adding the SS is not worth the money. Currently I am much more exited if they will add the C8 Z06 in the future.
