Had to do it

Had a good PM chat today with jessrayo.Super nice dude.I was throwing a few ideas about my next up grade and he gave me some good advice on which way to go.Out of the blue my Dodge dealer calls me this afternoon and has a Hellcat spot open.I dropped by to chat with him and see what he would give me for my 2014 ZL1 with the LPE700 package and what mark up the Hellcat would be.The offer he gave me on my car was good and the Hellcat price was even better. The mods I was planning on doing come close to the difference in price between the two cars.I loved my ZL1 and had a good time with it but was ready for something new.The deal was to good and signed the papers for a A8 Phantom Black tricoat challenger hellcat.I plan on staying on the forum and will give an update on the car compared to my ZL1 with the LPE700 .I might regret my decision, but when I'm old and gray,I can tell my grand kids I had the chance to own two great muscle cars of my time .

Congrats. I'm all about owning great cars. Like life, experience as much as you can.

But mopar puts cool colors on metal. I would not have chosen black.

Extreme congratulations to you! Can't wait to see some pics.

The Hellcat is a VERY impressive car. Haters of the car are blind to what it is, what it represents, and what it can do.

Good for you.

Awesome dude! Congrats!

Please return and give us a good vs. topic when you get some seat time in the Hellcat.

Both are great cars. I'd love to hear your thoughts on both.

When do you get the Hellcat?

I can see how it would be tempting. I just like the Camaro body style better. Good luck with it.

Me too but it's not just that. Mag ride, heads up display, Dual clutch manual, etc. The hellcat just doesn't have what I want but it does have nice features that the Camaro doesn't. So I'm not a hater. It's just not for me. I can still poke fun at it's bad points tho. And you know that Dodge, by definition means "to avoid" right? LOL!!
