Man, some people ride the bus.

Riding a big wheel makes you not a man.

please reword the thread subject. i almost flared in here with "Go eff yourself you big douche, automatics are used in F1 racing!!!!!!!!"

then i reread.... and was like "oh, those douche's with manuals are so douchey" then i rememebred i traded i just traded my LT Auto for a SS Manual. ive been to both extremes there are pros/cos in all aspects.

no car is "THE" man car. unless Playboy starts manufacturing automobiles and all service departments are 100% staffed by grade A broads that serve drinks and bring you sandwiches on skates, coupled with lifetime free maintenance and service with the technician of your choice. then, and only then will you have a MAN's car.

as an added bonus, they'll have a thumbtack taped to the lower portion of the back of each thigh to remind them that proper body mechanics is needed to do the mandatory rocker panel scrub and wax with every visit. just picture it

A stick doesn't make you a real man but I find it a heck of a lot more fun than an automatic, unless you're stuck in a major traffic jam, then it's a royal pain. Fortunately, I live in suburbia and hardly ever encounter traffic jams. I've had both transmissions and I much prefer the stick, as it makes me feel more part of the entire experience.

There is only one thing you can "drive" that makes you a man

I completely beg to differ. An auto with a great stall, tuned trans computer and tuned engine computer will always shift more evenly, quickly and accurately at RPM than a guy with a manual. It removes the human element to make mistakes. Plus it allows little things in life, like holding your drink, or flipping off the guy next to you for trying to race you in a Civic SI while the car shifts for you.

An auto doesn't make you "not a man". Just maybe a little less of a man.

But the thing about having sex with beautiful women, brings you right back up to man level.

To each his own. I just think driving a stick is more fun.

Automatic trans

I got the autotrans because it has the fuel saving cylinder shut down and the ele. start from the key at 50-100 meters it make the normal person look crazy when a car starts and no one is near it . they ask when i show them ( can you have it come to me ) i tell them not yet i must buy the watch for that ....
