Overall they definitely sound like a good choice.
They have some noise from about 20-50 which I would describe as a growl at higher speeds they are very quite.

I was looking at these but could not find the correct load rated rear tire?

BFG has the 275/40 ZR20 part #82193 on their website but NO BODY has them?
I was told that this tire has not been release yet?

BFG #82193 275/40ZR20/XL 106W Not released.

BFG #25597 275/40ZR20 102W Available but wrong load rating for the Camaro SS. I won't name names, but I was told by 3 different online vendors that they could not sell Me that under rated tire for My Camaro for liability reasons? Next time I may just have to say its for a pimped out Pinto

275/40R20 102W has a maximum load of 1875 lbs. The car has a front Gross axel weight rating of 2203 lbs and a rear gross axel weight rating of 2468 lbs. If you multiply the 1875 lbs by 2 it equals 3750 lbs which exceeds your front and rear gross axel weight by a large margin.

The Camaro comes with 106Y in the rear tires from the factory but ITS NOT NEEDED to meet load.

The BFG tire is PERFECTLY safe for the rear of a Camaro as explained above. Now some companies will not sell a tire that has less load than orginally equipped. They can do what they want but there is no issue with this tire on these cars.

Could these vendors be referring to the W? Z-rated tires for the past several years have been split into 2 ratings. Y=186 mph and W=168 mph. The Y that comes OEM from Pirelli is pretty much overkill unless you're going to tune out the speed limiter and go to Bonneville. For most of us the W rating is fine.

GREAT tires! The ride is improved and the traction is greatly improved. My car had a tendency to hydroplane on soggy roads with the Pirelli's, but this morning, not a hiccup. Other than the tire dealer putting the front tire on the rear rim and putting it in the front, they look great too! Meaty!
