Opposite of what I’m reading. EU carmakers are thinking this operation will be significantly more scalable than initial thoughts and at a much lower price per gallon. Way too early in the game to write them off, especially with the support of Germany and Italy governments.

True, but I think the significance for the Camaro isn't that big of a deal. They have enjoyed a little flurry of sales lately, but Camaro has ended before and this Gen and the 5thGen just can't seem to get the collector love like Mustang and Dodge.

With Ferrari and Porsche behind it, I find it hard to believe they’d do it for fun..especially 8 figures into development. But even if you’re right and it ends up at $12/gallon… well I’d be ok with that for my weekend toy/race car/exotic. Probably wouldn’t want to commute with it…unless the company credit card comes out..

I think YOU may be okay with it, but the general idea is that in most scenarios the little guy keeps getting priced out, something GM has been so good at NOT doing for a long time. Anyways I haven’t looked into this e/fuel much. But $12/gal is a good bit more than I’d like to pay

Back to the 24' Camaro. Anyone have guesses on the new colors? My best guess is the Nascar blue pacecar and Chevys new iridescent pearl maybe? Anyone else want to throw in 2 cents of wisdom?

They used the last blue pace car color, but that blue does not look as good as the riverside. I might be just getting black.

They introduced Rapid Blue as an option when revealing the pace car last year. This years pacecars should be new Riptide Blue that is actually available on the MY2024 C8s. So it's a safe guess that they might offer this color on the Camaro too.

Since the color looks very close to Hyper Blue I would love to see it on the Camaro since it's easily my favorite color on Gen 6

When I was down at the local Chevy dealer, that is the exact pic he showed me when he said that was the new blue color for the 2024 Camaro. True or not... IDK. Seems plausible though.

Personal preference for sure, but ya, I think that color is much nicer then RSB.

Riptide Blue Metallic and Nitro Yellow Metallic. Don't expect Riptide to look like that though. I'd bet all of those are wrapped. Pics of Riptide on C8 don't look anything like that.

That nitro yellow is SO not what I had in mind! Thats one nuts color! Here I was thinking they might go all out with an iridescent.

Yeah I don't like it and I hope it's not one of the new colors. It's being used on a lot of different Chevys right now though and I could see them bringing it to Camaro.
