Did you pull power for your coolant pump right from the positive battery lug?

yup, then i just ran the single relay power wire over to the fuse block and used a fuse tap with pigtail, in the ign fuse to activate the pump relay, and the ground is right from the stud that i mounted the relay and fuse on.

do not use the small fuse taps that go over your fuse,, they end up wrecking the fuse block because they are so wide they end up bending the fuse block terminals apart,, i have fixed many of these at work from people using them

get the fuse tap that have the wire pigtail and add on fuse ($7 at autozone) like this one:

I'm thinking that your way is much better than mounting the relay in the intended location by the fuse box and soldering in extensions to the two wires that run from the relay to the pump. It's much easier to run a single relay trigger wire! Thanks. What amp fuse did you use for your "add-a-circuit" for the relay trigger?

Hey, another question...imagine that.

Do you have a pic of your coolant pump mounted? Did you go on the frame rail, tight to the cooling fans? I'm having a hard time visualizing my coil packs and the coolant pump fitting in there. I did find that unclipping the power steering line gave me more room...
