Short answer. No. I saw a youtube video of an interior upgrade kit for the 1SS and they had to use a soldering iron to melt plastic welds to get that piece off.

My understanding is that just the knee pads and the door pads in the middle of the door are replaceable. The top door pad is not. It almost looks like its a separate piece just like the other pads, but I guess its not. If it was I'd be all over replacing that too on my 1SS.

Bets bet is to get door panels from e-bay or a wrecking yard and replace the whole thing. It can be done but it is a lot of work. I changed mine in the 5gen from cloth to the plastic ones with ambient lights. Not to bad if you take your time.

I think your best bet (and mine too when I overhaul my interior) is to just get 2ss door trim off eBay or a Chevy parts website. IIRC it's really not as expensive as you'd think for brand new trim.
