Congrats, that's a nice ride! If you do get motivated to pull the front plate, they sell little plugs to fill the holes, these guys color match, but there are much less expensive ones out there:

That front plate looks like the same one that came with my ZL1. Should be a clamp on, just remove the temp plate and you'll see 4 screws, loosen them and the piece behind the grill will loosen up enough for you to remove the plate holder. No holes drilled....
