LG Motorsports Camaro Headers - Problems

Has anybody else dealt with LG Motorsports? I ordered some headers with the required items to install on a 2010 Camaro LS3, since then I've had nothing but problems and excuses, still don't have what I need to get it running. Also never had anything like this happen in my 25yrs of car modifying. Still trying to get a working system after 3-4 weeks now, getting nowhere.

Decided to buy more expensive headers to avoid any of the problems I've had with headers in the past (fitment, uneven flanges, etc) but as it stands right now going into my fourth week I have a pass side header that rubs the sub-frame, and connection pipes that are about 6" too short. I asked for replacements days ago, haven't heard back. All I get when I call or email is "I'll check on that and get back to you today".

3/14/2018 1) Placed order for LG Pro Camaro Headers - "Offroad No Cats, Everything included - connection pipes, gaskets, 02 extensions"
3/16/2018 2) Heard nothing, asked about tracking#, received paid invoice and shorly after received tracking#
3/22/2018 3) When finally received, it was just the headers, nothing else. Sent an email when I noticed on 3-26-2018 (I was out of town)
3/30/2018 4) They sent gaskets, connection pipes, O2 extensions but noticed right away the gaskets were wrong. Emailed again. Explained I didn’t like a weld inside one pipe and should have these problems.
4/7/2018 5) Received new gaskets then installed Dside header
4/8/2018 6) Installed pass side but it rubs the subframe. Checked the connection pipes and they are way too short by at least 6", emailed pics and videos immediately (Sunday Night)
4/9/2018 7) Called around 10am, they said I was the 2nd caller this morning and he would check with shipping and figure this out.
4/10/2018 8) Heard nothing so emailed a 2nd time about the header rubbing and the connection pipes.. Said they would figure this out today by end of day
4/11/2018 9) End of next day, received pics of 3 headers they are deciding which will fit the best.
Now they sent me pics asking me what header they should send, with a tube pushed between each pipe. In their mind they think deeper should mean more space and less fit. Shallower should be less space so should fit better. What? Asking me what should fit? I thought that's what Im paying them for.

4-13-2018 10) Another couple days, still no better fitting header. Another email sent. Got a tracking # for the proper connection pipes should be where 4-14 but no header. Seems like they want me to bang them up on my own.

How hard is it rubbing? Take a hammer and flatten the spot to clearance it a little. I had to do this to my passenger side tri ys on my C6 a couple weeks ago.

There is plenty of room on the C5 Camaro - header shouldn't even be close.

Sounds like you got headers/mid pipes for something else (different year)...

I hear the C6's are tight.. not allot of room, I could see that. Not in a camaro, I could almost fit two headers up in there.

The point of $1600 headers was to have them fit no problems. In past builds I've gone the cheap way and had minor problems like needing to file down some high weld on the flanges but never had so many continuous problems like this. And it's not so much the single problem, it's all of the problems then when I finally move to the next step I have just another problem, and delays when i call, right now they are ignoring me basically. Keep telling me it will be resolved "later today" and they don't do anything.

If I paid $500 sure I'd bang them up, crowbar or hammer into place. $1600 just for headers and so called connection pipes that dont come close to fitting, no thanks.

Was really hoping someone here has worked with them so I can decide to either keep calling/emailing maybe they are honestly busy or if they are just a bunch of A-holes - in that case I'll have to dispute the case with my credit card company let them deal with it that way as they aren't responsive.

I'll post a vid, the header is right up against the lower subframe. They are strong, I try to push it away but it's right there on it.

They just wrote back, said they did have a bad batch and I should not have gotten one, but will be sending a replacement after all.

We'll see when it shows up hopefully they ship today having a car down weeks for just headers which normally takes a few hrs is ridiculous.

Yep, I know. That's the route I'll go if I end up returning these. I figured these would be the easiest, most problem free route. I think they recently moved to a new building or something, I'm sure that has something to do with it.

Thanks good to know. That's my opinion as well which is why I made that choice. Other than them seeming really busy, they are handing my whining professionally. They just sent me pics of 3 headers they are trying to figure out what one will have the most clearance. I suggested send them all to me and I'll keep the best fitting one.

fwiw, those were my choice headers but they were a few hundred dollars out of my budget at the time

they were $1599 at the time (2011) and i was able to get a different brand for $1399 so i went that route

I think they were $1557 shipped with all required parts to connect to stock exhaust, interesting the price has stayed the same all these years. I don't usually spend this much $$ when cheaper alternatives are avail but I just got tax returns, bonus, etc. Figured what the hell, but I am trying to copy a build that made 750rwhp at 8psi on 93pctane (810whp on E81) with a Whipple and mild cam and used these same headers. Every little bit helps though I could have gotten good injectors and cheap headers for the same combined price.. ahh well. As long as I get that header soon I'll stick with them. The guys are nice and are honestly trying, so that's what matters the most.

Ya FOR $350 I'd be happy with that. I'd probably even mill the flange if they needed it like I did on my $200 hookers or Headman on a tight body car. Remember them? lol they were $75 back in the day and they fit.

How about the 4th Gen LT1 Procharger F1.. they fit that in there no problem somehow.

This is Gen 5 Camaro I put my entire head up in the gap where the headers go and looked down at it all.

I've never even had to bang $350 headers. Luckily it's Michigan here and we have 4ft of snow coming in. Well I should say lucky for LG. Whatever. I guess thays why we all pay by cc so we have buyer protection.

I'll put the "QC" pics here asking me what I think will fit. Now I know they dont care and are just buying time. That's quality.

Obviously after the 1st week they are messing/not really interested with this order, no question. Just posting it here so others know.
