Inferno is FINALLY home
Well as most of you know its been a long time coming but my car is finally home. Went up to Cincy Speed on Friday to watch it get dynoed and we couldnt keep it on the dyno as it just blows the tires off the dyno. After we knew it would have to be tuned at the track there was only one thing to do and that was head to the track, and thats exactly what we did, closed up shop and loaded up. I went with the impression that we could do some soft launches and get some data logging done and work from there. On the second pass we decided to try and leave with a little rpm and to my disbelief it pulled the bumper off..........literally pulled the bumper skin off as it launched super hard and popped the clips and that was it. Thankfully the parachute was mounted as that was the only thing that saved it. Nothing a little duct tape didnt fix. Hopefully the new skin will arrive before Holley Fest but if not I will be sporting a duct taped bumper. Here are some pics at the track.

Thanks everyone its been a really long road but its finally coming together. From the data so far its very exciting and running good. Its just going to take some time to get chassis dialed and then start pouring the power to it and then on to the nitrous. I am going to the LTX Shootout this weekend and Beech Bend and the Holley LS Fest after that. I will be out testing and tuning for the rest of the season and anxious to get it dialed in.
