jannetty is now installing a port injected nitrous system with the nano system so i can just stick with my lousey 1.4 60 foot time and make it into the eights with big power after the 60 foot.
that is if the gods of racing favor me.

PM me and I will give you all the info as the guy who makes them is a good friend and his company is Xtreme Innovations & Fabrication as he is the only one making the tubular K members for these cars as well. His work is insane and quality is best Ive seen.

Suspension tune plays more than the tire choice. See those X275 guy's hitting 1.1 60" on 275 drag radials?
Haven't played much with my camaro suspension but I now the rear buries too much on launch. You want it to lift while pushing down on the tires.

Midwest Chassis a few hours from me has a 15" rear suspension coming together too, they are the guys that have done a lot of work on the 7.25@202 LSX ODR car I help with.

LPE's black pig has clearanced sheetmetal I think for the 30's.

Also, you can go 1.16-1.25 short times on 28's, so running 30's IMO are overkill. We run 30's on the ODR car and we are controlling 1900 HP in a 3300 ride.

hi john:
how are you going 1.16-1.25 60 foots on 28-14.5-16.
do you use sophisticated electronics that retard timing/fuel or a davis traction control system?
please elaborate on controlling 1900 hp.
is my 4200 lbs race weight with 1200 hp more difficult to "60 foot" than your 1900 hp 3300 lbs ride?
thanks for your anticipated response.

With the 7.25 car it's all power management. We leave on 3-6 lbs of boost and ramp it all sometime before 4 seconds.

Our cars are too heavy to need more than a 28" unless you are stick and you are a glide.

You guys using a 2 step? I would be be.

If you are running a loose converter that is blower-friendly, you would benefit from a 2 step because you could control the launch rpm. So even if the converter stalls to 5000 you can leave at say 3800. With a blower you can't turn the starting line boost down like a turbo setup can.

what 29 inch tire do you run?

Do you think a 29x14.5x15 would fit underneath, or would the extra width be a problem? I am almost thinking of just sticking with the 28x14.5x16 Hoosiers as I love the look of the CCW classics compared to bogart or weld wheels, and this car will mostly be a street car.
