It looks good! I don't mind keeping the tips clean on mine, but I definitely see the benefit of doing this.

Thanks SSDan and Glen! Exactly what I was looking for. Will definitely do that as soon as the nasty-ass cold weather lets up here in Maryland.

If I had to do it all over again, and I’ve done two cars this way, I would use satin finish not Matte… It will hold less particulate and is easier to clean.

Scuffed with a 3M pad,masked the area off, and wiped down with acetone before using VHT satin rattle can on them. I wish this was a factory option but it's easy enough to DIY I guess. The darker tips definitely blend in a lot more with the black rear fascia.

Oh now these look heavenly. Going to buy some ZL1 tips, and then have them done JUST like this. Car looks amazing bro.
