I just had my 2016 GT serviced. I have a Dashcam mounted behind the mirror. For shits and giggles I checked it after getting the car back.
One clip, a tech took it out for a test drive, and I hear him let his buddy in who says "awwwwww yeah" as he gets in. I prepare myself for a scene out of Ferris Buellers day off. Fortunately, long story short they didn't abuse it, so I don't care, but there was discussion about taking it out and 'Blowing it up". At one point one of them points out that 'he has a camera in here'.

Whether they would have romped on it had the camera not been in there who knows.
Worth every penny.

Wow, I have been caught up with family and the holidays that I didn't even think a thread was already started here. I am joyridethrowaway.

So many facts wrong in that "article". I have just the SS. I noticed the transmission was just warm, not "at its peak" or whatever. Also, I didn't mess up prep for track. You change the rear diff fluid AFTER the first track event.

And while it's easy to find the area of shops, it's hard to tell which shop, there are about 8 shops in that center.

Also, I went to local news before posting anything. They came and interviewed me, so the local residents will get the details they need.

Hey guys. Took my car in for service and the tech killed my wife while we were in the waiting room can you BELIEVE that? I won't post the name or location so there isn't a witch hunt or anything though. Good luck taking your car to the dealership in thousand oaks hopefully it isn't the one where my wife was murdered

Someone I know had a highly modified Supra in for service. The Dealer took it on a joy ride and wrecked it.
