dead and bent fuel level sensor from day one. Didn't throw a code and drop to E suddenly until around 150 miles.

Rattling NPP exhaust. Replaced. Now new one rattles. Need to make an appointment.

Rear end would roar on turns when cold. Changed the fluid myself and it went away.

Touchscreen would go nuts and tap away on the display repeatedly at the same spot. Software update from dealership fixed it.

Steering wheel seems to be turned a little to the right when driving straight. Can't remember if it's always been like that so I'll probably have them take a look as it doesn't drift or pull in any direction.

I have the NPP rattle. Will wait till my 1st oil change to have it fixed. I have it in track mode anyway, so i don't hear it.

So the NPP rattle occurs in Tour and Sport modes?

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the participation! We've had 41 owners report in and here's how the stats are breaking down so far:

Out of 41 owners, 58% (24 people) have had ZERO to very minor issues. The remainder of owners 41% (17 people) have had problems significant enough to have them take the car into the dealership.

Out of the 17 owners that had problems, 65% were attributed to Engine, Electrical or Other. The other 35% were Fit and Finish issues - two owners had both engine, electrical or other AND fit and finish issues.

I have a rattle in my NPP exhaust as well. They are on national back order and my service manager said that there are having failures in 1 out of 10. Still waiting for a new one to come in.

I only hear it in Tour mode. Sport and Track are pretty much wide open.

I have had similar issues to most here. I had the front bumper alignment issue to the hood and the NPP exhaust rattle and I am still waiting for a new exhaust to come in.

One issue that I have that I have not heard here is the seat binding up. When I got it back after the bumper adjustment seat would not adjust. The upper seat adjustment - not forward and back. They actually put a new seat in it.

Later the service manager told me that they were told by Chevrolet that there is a tab may get jammed in hinge and the fix is too put pressure on the headrest while moving it and it will push through the tab.

I love the car though and my dealership has been amazing in correcting the issues.

Oh lord. I've had my exhaust in Sport mode since I had the car with the rest in Tour. So there's a decent possibility that I'll have an exhaust rattle in Tour? Don't think I'd ever have the exhaust in Tour mode anyway so will just leave it as is.

Already dealt with a few issues including intermittent loss of power steering after the car began pulling to the right then complete failure of the electric power steering.

As for the exhaust, I just would never have and never had it in Tour mode. I have it set to override the mode. Why get the exhaust to leave it in Tour mode. Maybe certain situations I could see wanting to creep around. Have not used the Track mode though as I'm not tracking the car so just have it in Sport from day one.

Can you guys that have had the problems post when your cars were made? I started a thread in the issues area on this so we can see if things are getting better or worse over time.

My check engine light just came on yesterday. On Star said it was the Fuel Evap system. If it doesn't go out soon, I will be taking it to the dealer.

Interestingly enough, only 58% of all people polled haven't had to take their car back into the dealer to address an issue.

So basically, every 4 out of 10 people had to take their new car back to the dealer to get something fixed. GM has got to be taking notice of this... those repairs are not freebies -- GM is aware of every penny the dealer spends on warranty issues.
