Update from Lansing

Don't flame me... I'm not much of a photographer, and the big challenge is, you have to shoot through chain link fence, or long distance.
1. I know many want to know, but I did not see any Camaros on haulers, only Cadillacs. Doesn't mean it isn't happening, but it didn't see it while I was there. I could not see the rail loading area.
2. I have seen all the colors. Lots of center stripes and rally stripes. Did not happen to see any side spears or fender slash stripes, but many cars are very far away.
3. If you're undecided about color, come up to Lansing! There is at least one area where you can see all the colors, and lots of wheel choices, very close (through a fence, of course).
4. It's a beautiful bright sunny day, and I swear ALL the colors seem to "pop" in the sunlight. Whatever color you have chosen, you're gonna LOVE it!!

I did not see any security when I was there, so you would have plenty of time to search for your build, provided you picked the right holding area.

How does the hyper blue look in the sunlight?

It's what I ordered.

I hear the sunlight just makes the car look alive.

How about at nighttime?

Which colors gleam or kinda glow in the dark because of their shade?

Hyper Blue, Garnet Red?

But may still be in jail when your car is delivered.

Zack46: ummmm, I don't think I'll be walking around that area at night. Laborsmith: there was a security vehicle today. I just stayed on the sidewalks.

Probably a good idea not to go there at night.

Security vehicles are good. Guarding my hyper blue baby.

Very nice...as far as not seeing haulers, not sure. I know I am one of only a few who were at 4200, now I am at 4300, but mine went to a rail yard in Lansing/Charlotte, MI...so maybe they are picking up a little at a time and transporting them to rail yards.

I forgot to say nice shot Lazruss. I have been trying to figure out where it was taken from as the background beyond the trees looks like Moore Park Drive west of MLK Blvd. and I can't figure out how you got there for the photo, short of stopping on the freeway.

I wonder what the hold up is in shipping all these cars out. Could be one of a million things, but ughhhh this waiting is painful.

I am not sure there is much of a hold up. I know I predicted Halloween weekend loading and new build drops at the dealerships beginning the following Monday and Tuesday (yesterday and today), but a few days beyond that does not seem a cause of concern to me, at least as of now.

Autoport is the dispatcher but I am not certain all rail bound LGR builds go to Charlotte. My look at the google map view revealed no Cadillacs but a lot of Chevys and Buicks assembled at the close by Lansing Delta plant. It seemed to me there should have been some CTS builds if the view was old, and maybe there were but I could not pick them out.
