2014 SS grill

I haven't seen it posted here or maybe I missed it - but until I started looking at fellow forum members pics of their new 14 SS's, I just realized that the grills are different between a non-RS and RS SS. Guess it's because of the headlights.

Borrowed a pic from this site for the Non - RS
Then my RS SS is below.

I prefer the RS. I'll probably do a 14 front fascia swap on my 11 once I get the cash

It looks bigger on the non RS? Oh and why do the rims look different? Aren't they both zl1 style rims? Or is it the tires on the non RS that make em look like that?

Both look like reproductions. Bottom car just has smaller ones.

The pic above is a true 1LE, but non RS. The bottom car is a RS with an aftermarket reproduction 1LE/ZL1 wheel.

Correct - the bottom is mine with the factory repro's in stock SS sizes 20x8, 20x9.....BUT....back on topic.....

I posted the pics just to compare the different grills that Chevy used on the 2014 SS - the non RS has a double box grill and the RS has a single box grill. I had posted this to see if anyone had noticed this as I just did....even though I have had my SS since Dec 2013.

Figured it was just me that was late to the party on realizing this...but wondered if other fellow members weren't aware of the difference.

i prefer non RS.

I dont understand why chevy and all these other manufacturers are so obsessed with putting fake chrome trim everywhere. it doesnt look terrible on silver and white cars but looks horrible on everything else. I got rid of all the chrome trim on my camaro and it looks so much better

I like the RS, just not a fan of that one piece of chrome. The HIDs, LED Tail lights, and the grill itself looks good IMO. However, the non-RS cars look good, too...

I prefer the z/28 grille. The body colored grille looks very similar to it. I saw the body color grille on a spring edition recently.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Yes, I want that Z/28 grill. I think the one you're talking about is the same grill, just can order it in any body color. I'll be ordering mine in black
