Mustang question
Are all GT Mustangs 5.0s, if not what's the difference?

No they are not. For the 5th gen Mustang GT the 05-10 MYs had the 4.6L SOHC 3V V8, whereas the 11-14 MYs had the new 5.0L "Coyote" DOHC 4V V8. The Fox body GT had the Windsor (pushrod) V8 5.0L and I'm sure some of the classic Mustangs had 302s in them.

Depends on the year and generation. How far back do you want to go? Generally 2010 I believe were the last of the 4.6 3 valve mod motors (2005-2009, 2010) and 2011 started the 5.0 Coyote engine.

A brief history lesson.
15+ 5.0 DOHC 4v V8 Coyote 14-11 5.0 DOHC 4v V8 Coyote 10-05 4.6 SOHC 3v V8 Modular 04-99 4.6 SOHC 2v V8 Modular 98-96 4.6 SOHC 2v V8 Modular 95-79 "5.0" OHV 2v V8 Windsor 78-75 "5.0" OHV 2v V8 Windsor 74 2.8 OHV 2v V6 Cologne 73-66 "5.0" OHV 2v V8 Windsor 65-64 4.7 OHV 2v V8 Windsor There were of course an abundance of other powerplants from 2.3L to 7.0L but you specified GT...even then that trim didn't always exist.

New or old? 2 or 4 door? Manual or auto? Warranty? Since I already have/ had a stable full of domestic muscle cars I've been looking at AMG C63's at Carmax because they offer a great warranty program. Hand built natural aspirated DOHC 6.2L that makes 451 to 487 horsepower, is available in a 2 and 4 door. Plus womens love MB's.... She'd owe for life if you brought one home for her and you'd get to thrash on it when she's not using it. You can pick one up in the mid 30's now with a great warranty. If you do decide on a mustang get a 5.0L as it will have a tremendous advantage in re-sale over the 4.6L. You may not think she need the extra power but it worth it for many other reasons as just about everyone scoff's at 2 and 3 valve 4.6's. You'd almost be better off with a V6.

They already have a Camaro in the garage. What would be the point of having two of the same vehicles? It would be like having two of the same Corvette's or motorhomes or wrist watches.
