I will be tackling my Texas speed catted header install this week or next week with two friends. Were gonna attempt to do it on jack stands. I hope you guys are right about this because I don't want to have to put it all back together and take it to a lift.

I did mine with 2 jacks in the front they were pretty much maxed out on how high they go but I got it done. It was a lot easier to install than my LS2 GTO.

It's really not that hard to do. The drivers side comes in from the bottom after moving the steering shaft. The passenger side go's in from the top. You have to remove the valve cover and the heat shield on the started and it'll drop right in. No need to remove the skid plate. I did mine on jack stands. I removed the entire exhaust when I did mine. There is a plate about mid way under the car you remove then just 2 sets of hangers and the entire exhaust will drop out.
