For those of you who do buy a 2019 SS, first stop would be a body shop to at least paint the black bumper body color. $500 well spent.

Apparently beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I’m kinda liking it, but not an “enthusiastic” like. A lot different, but not necessarily a lot better. Definitely not enough to get me to move off of my 2017.

Headlights? Like
Hood? Like
SS Grill / Bumper? Mostly like. Could do without the “chinstraps” that protrude inward. It will be interesting to see if / how a front splitter would look on this. Almost looks like a splitter type treatment just above the bottom line of the fascia.
RS Grill? Not really a fan. Looks a bit docile to me. I think it’s the body colored bumper that makes it look docile.
Tail lights? I like, but I like the 2016-18 a bit more. The new lights pay homage to the original round taillights. I do like how the amber lights present.
New Tech? The 10AT is a welcome addition. Not sure I would use line-lock but glad it’s there for those who would. The rear view mirror camera is an awesome tech. I drove a Bolt that had this for a couple weeks. Common sense and awesome tech.

If I didn’t have a Camaro and was looking to buy, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a 2019. But it is not sufficiently above and beyond the car I already have to make me consider moving off of my 2017 Fifty Vert to acquire one.

It may look better, as in less offensive. But that still leaves you with those cheek bones (or cantinflas mustache) with pointy corners, which look superfluous. If you were to remove those fangs, the design would then leave you with rectangular lines, which is overall regressive.

It’s growing on me. I love the rs front end, and like the idea of the larger distinction between the SS and rs. I bet with the 1le package on the SS (black hood and mirrors, plus matte black front bumper section to match) this car will look killer.

Remember, everyone disliked the 5th gen refresh, Hell most disliked the 6th gen on Camaro5, calling it a LEXUS.

It will grow on most. The only thing I have a problem with now is that rear end...

Im excited to see what the LT1 can do with that 10 speed at the track.

To anyone who thinks the tail lights look better-can I please get whatever you're high on? This is not a case of oh you'll get used to it. This is they took a wonderful new generation and dropped a steaming pile on it. The only upside is our 16-18 models will gain value XD

Am I missing it.... or are the vertical/horizontal lights (depending on RS/SS variant) now gone? It could be I'm just not seeing them in the lower part of the bumper. (As kids we called them fog lights....or driving lights. Not referring to the always on daytime running lights.

I wonder if the new infotainment center and updated PDR will be in the 2018 ZL1s that have yet to be built?

lol I agree though. I think they need to move the flowtie to the top grill and black it out. I think I can live with the taillights so long as they are full LED taillights.

My lease is up in January 2019 and I was itching to get back into a camaro. I was hoping that the refresh was going to be very minor, but man was I wrong. I don't mind the front end, but the tail lights are just not me.

Here's to hoping that I can score a late 2018 2ss.
