Here's my update!! After first getting a non-speaking guy at G.M. who told me that I had to call my dealer to get info. on the status of my car, I just hung up on him!! So that was a nice start. Then I got the nicest Texas-sounding speaking lady who was just so excited for me to get my car, and she supposedly was about to order a convertible herself. She transferred me to another person. After being on hold so long that I think G.M. also has a stake in the phone company, I got some supposed answers. Supposedly my car is still in Canada. Big shock there!! Supposedly, it will be 1-3 weeks until I get it, which I don't have any confidence in. It will go on rail from Canada to Missouri, then by truck to Indiana. Actually, it will probably go on rail right through my town on its way to Missouri to sit for another month waiting for a truck. (:

Mike and AV3206, I don't think we are being unreasonable at all to complain. We've been getting such a run around, and there's obviously something seriously wrong with our cars. Mine supposedly came out of inspection and got bayed on the same day that Mike's supposedly went back to Q.C. I'm almost in agreement with you that we should cancel and order again, just buy one off the lot, or forget it.

panda watch day 29.....haha car was built exactly 4 weeks ago today. it does not matter for me anymore i am going on a vacation next week so since it has not shipped yet today there is zero shot i get it before i leave so i really cant get it until sept 19th. so i guess i can stop worrying about it. it just burns me up that ones being built last week have been shipped already like they should be.

colors people? i am reading some people were told they were repainted......trying to figure if its all colors or the reds, oranges, yellows......basicly non white ones...

i just got this update from my dealer....who knows if its true Hey . I just called again. The car has.been moved to the rail station and is awaiting to be put on the rail car

Well, another day passes. I just got off the phone with a rude lady at GM and she said not to call more than once a week for updates. Every other person I've talked to never has a problem. There's no way to get the shipment pushed from my side and apparently my dealer doesn't have much say either. I would understand if i was like 500+ miles away but I'm not even 50 miles away from the plant. I'm going to have the paperwork done up tonight for the 45th on the lot at my dealer. I'm not 100% sold with the sunroof, but I'm sure ill learn to like it.
