No worries, it was the effort that counts.

Anyone have any info to offer as to when ordering will begin? The talk about mid 2016 seems to be that, just talk. I'm leaning towards ordering starting in the fall. Correct me if I'm wrong but if ordering starts then doesn't that mean production would begin a few weeks later or is that not accurate? If so we might be looking at a December delivery timeframe.

[QUOTE=szalkerous;9073104]It seems almost cruel to release a car like this just before winter....

Which has me seriously thinking of waiting to order until March '17 or so.

And the reason is !!!!!!! are you Irish !?

Why yes I am. Perhaps I'll down a pint and get into a fistfight with Sean
O'ppenheiser and knock his block off! Mercy save us all.

Best Price

Going to the dealer today to negotiate. Attached is the sticker price of $66,940CND including destination charge and options on a 2ss convertible. Just wondering if there is any negotiation at all or will I be paying the MSRP?

$67K! Wow, were there any options that weren't selected? I'd try to get them to slice some of the price off sheer principle. If not, try other dealers and if you experience the same resistance, then there's your answer.

Hellcats are 60-65 and seems like they are having no issues selling them. ZL1 will be similar in pricing and it will be lighter and faster with an A10, it will be killer. Probably just as fast as the Z06 and way cheaper or you can put a SC on the 16 SS and go 10.80@128 and save 15-20k.

I like this statement, but I have yet to meet anybody who paid $60-65k for a hellcat. I worked at a dodge dealership last year (midlife crisis) and they had one on the floor for over $80k, finally the guy "talked em down to $77k" lol. We keep using the hellcat pricepoint, referring to MSRP...as i stated in another post, yet we aren't using the actual data which supports that most if not all people are paying over MSRP for these cars. We really cant compare any of these cars at MSRP when it's the minority. People are paying $70k for hellcats and they have no problem selling them is a better point to make. Not knocking your whole point...just the price part.
