I run a fairly large facebook buying and selling group here in the Bay Area. Before I did, I had NO idea how many salvage cars are out there. Literally every day there are at least a dozen people trying to move one. I can't imagine that most of them are put back together well

No, it's just a local buying and selling group here. I have people trying to post their salvaged cars all the time. Very rarely are they Camaros. Usually it's subarus, toyotas, hondas, etc.

Yeah win some and lose some… Driving my car around for a few months and tracking it with these intermittent problems not knowing what the cause was, probably did more damage to the rest of the wiring harness and system, otherwise the initial $4000 splice job would’ve probably fixed it if i had caught it early enough… now that I think about it, it also May have contributed to me almost crashing the car at the track a few times… https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7aZ3yl-L7OA https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=70U6Q8wtAjg

Welp this happened to me.
What’s the part number for this harness? All the chevy parts guys can find is the engine harness, and the dash harness. Neither look like this harness.

A bit late but for others reading, the OEM exhaust on these cars is just fine. You're better off spending your money elsewhere.

Check eBay or AZ Cycle Parts in Phoenix. They take chassis harnesses out of wrecked ZLE’s. Look for one with similar options. The illustrations from GM will show what RPO codes are specific to your harness.

I wrapped my headers with Cool-It tape for just that very reason and under hood temperatures of course

That Jet-Hot coating is amazing but Florida summer heat/humidity still won.

Bummer, relocates your harness behind coolant tank. It fits back there and you don’t even have to worry about wrapping it. Coolant tank was removed IIRC when I did the header install anyways. Takes like 5 minutes. I wouldn’t even trust wrapping it, just get it away from them! Sorry for folks that have went through this

I hope she get's back together soon! Anything else you could upgrade while the interior is removed like speakers? One thing I did when researching for headers for my 2023 ZL1. I check fitment and looked at post and aft on what everyone else had to do "after" the headers were installed. I ended up going with the CSP 2" Headers made by Stainless Works ! They fit better than a glove! So much room and they didn't run "close" to anything critical! In fact, if I remember correctly. I was able to get the drivers side header installed from the top side, and the passenger side header I installed from under. But I have a lot of space around these the way they are designed.
