Nicer looking Brake Calipers
Hello, hoping someone can shed some light on this?
i have a 2017 2.0 RS my brake calipers are not too nice looking, and I know there are crazy expensive upgrades and low dollar way to large caliper covers. Then i saw these, what the heck are these and how do I get them ? I like the color, the logo, everything :-) There not brembo I dont think? , as the break rotors don't look any different than mine. Anyone with any info please let me know, |

They're the Brembo brake calipers that come standard on the SS Camaros. You can see part of the Brembo logo in red. If you like the looks then there are threads from members that have repainted their calipers in the brakes subsection. Much easier than a caliper swap. The front SS brakes might be compatible with the LS and LT Camaro but another member posted that the rear brakes are completely different designs and not compatible.

Its an upgrade from the factory or you can add em for about 500$ either take offs or through gm.

These are the upgraded 4 piston Brembros that come with the 2.0 turbo if you option for the HD Brake and Cooling kit; they look similar to the standard equipment SS Brembros but are actually 1" smaller in diameter.
The front SS Brembros will bolt up to the 2.0 with no issues; the rears have different parking brake setups which make a direct bolt on swap between the 2 not possible right now. You might be able to option the brakes separately now also...
