NPP exhaust question
I got three questions the first is how do you all feel about the NPP quad exhaust being added as an aftermarket mod meaning do you think it's too quiet and not worth the money to be an aftermarket upgrade. My second question, is there any sites that Yall know of that sells the NPP quad exhaust because I been looking and can't find any that's for sale. My last question is can I buy a NPP catback exhaust setup from my local Chevrolet dealership? Thanks in advance

#1 its the best exhaust performance wise for our cars that's factory and the loudest with a mild to wild switch factory as its straight through. And with headers its is loud as straight pipes 3" I know a guy at work has one with no mufflers and headers.... and I have npp . As for retrofitting it in and buying it there are lots of sites for g.m. parts and you might start at diygen5.com .......

Yes the exhaust sounds great, and is worth upgrading to IF you buy a take off cat back from a fellow member. It is a great exhaust, but you will pay aftermarket catback prices buying new and if I were to pay in the $1000 range I would just go with the Stainless Works Retro Chambered ZL1 exhaust. To me that is the #1 sounding exhaust, but for the money(used or factory ordered) there is nothing better than the NPP.
I am ALWAYS seeing one for sale in the sub section. Just keep looking, be patient, and try starting a WTB(Want To Buy) thread as well. Be sure to check out the ZL1 parts sale section.

NPP exhaust really comes alive when used with LT headers and HF Cats

I have 2" headers, no cats and a fuse pulled NPP setup. I was completely ignorant of NPP before I bought my car. It just so happen to come with it and I liked the quad tip look. The tone of the exhaust is nice and loud, albeit clean. The only gripe I have with it, is that it's not the tone I prefer. I would have prefered a deeper grumble than the all-out-performance scream it has. More often than not, people think I'm flooring it constantly and speeding around; at least that's what my coworkers say.
If/when the time comes, I may choose a different cat-back system and sell my NPP. After all, I got a pretty darn nice deal on my car and I paid well below MSRP, ditching the NPP isn't something I'm opposed to doing.

I have the npp with LT headers and a 3way switch. I love how it sounds, you can hear the difference in the sound when I hit the switch. Now I'm just waiting on my cam kit to come in and get it installed.

It sounds good. I have headers and the last time at the track I had multiple people come up too me and say I had the best sounding car there including the guy in the boss 302 I was racing all day. I especially love the fact that with the controller I can quiet it down or open her up when I want.
