ZL1 and ZL1 1LE race ramp questions
Anyone have experience with zl1 1le and race ramps? Looking to pick up a set and am curious if the 67 XT versions will work with no front splitter scrape - or would I need to go to the 72" ramps? A few other questions: 1 piece or 2 piece version? How many wheel chocks should be used 2 or 4?
Thanks |

There are some posts about Race Ramps in this section, and the 67 inch version will work. The 2 piece version allows you to remove the rear portion of the ramp for easier under car access. I'd think 2 chocks would work, since the car is lifted in the front or rear while on the ramps.

I thought that I saw the people saying the 56" race ramps clears the ZL1 but its close. I want to get a set to do oil changes.

56" clears on my 18 ZL1 by about 1/2", maybe a little less.

The longer they are the better the angle and less chance of scraping i have the 67 and they don't hit. but from above looks like 56 will work also

I'm on the bigger side so i wouldn't be able to fit but someone smaller than me might be able to.

Anyone with the 56" Race Ramps back up on to them to say service the rear diff? If so, did the front end clear the ground? I can try it, but haven't yet.

For changing oil I use the Race ramp wheel cribs and chock the rear tires.
I was lucky enough to find these at a local car swap. To lift the car I use the ZL1 addons universal Jackpads This works great for all my cars and much easier to store and move around.
