I've found that different chat people will give different amount of information often. Sometimes I've had to ask them for more info, or hang up and try again with another person.

I just chatted with them online and they said my car is on the way and was last seen in Ohio, but there is no ETA yet.

I guess he was in the mood to chat with me. He also gave me my VIN (which I already got from Becky) and he gave me this info:

"I have also created a Service Request Number for you of 8-3310398844 so that on your next contact with us, you can just give this number to my co Advisor to pull up your file."

To be honest, I didn't expect to get nearly that much information.

Good thread - thanks for sharing!

That list of issues is a bit scary. Hopefully all those delivery issues affect only a small percentage of the cars.

This order is going to by my 2nd 6th gen.

My first 2016 2SS that I am in now had/has the following issues:
1. Speaker rattle (fixed)
2. Tach jumping on decel (fixed)
3. Differential groan (fixed)
4. Panel gaps
5. NPP rattle
6. Just discovered my vented seat motor is probably bad (Loud noises)
7. Missing settings on mylink (intermittent)
8. Sunroof windscreen came detached (fixed)
9. Drivers mirror whistle (fixed)
10. Probably more things I forgot

Thing is.. I enjoyed the car SOO much 90% of the time I am hoping that this collateral swap is pain free. My local dealer would not give me the 17 1LE on the lot because they wanted to charge someone their $5k mark up and GM would not pay it for a collateral swap.

I'm at 4800 today! Arrived at the destination rail yard in East Brookfield, MA. Hopefully it won't sit there for long and will make its way to the dealership soon.

Car finally arrived but they cannot give me the car until the LPO parts arrive and are installed. It was awesome finally sitting in it but guess i gotta wait a little longer before I take it home and start the mods.

Just got a call from the dealer - it has arrived! hopefully I can pick it up soon!

Not real happy with the dealership I used. The sales rep and sales manager have not returned a call or email since we made the original deal (except for when I had to beg for the order number). Becky provided all of my updates and when I felt like I was bothering her too much, I did the Chevy chat thing. Estimated delivery date from Chevrolet.com said Sep 21st. Tried calling the dealership yesterday and still no response from the people I dealt with. I know I'll eventually get it, but I feel now that I'm a guaranteed sale, customer service went out the window. I really hope they don't think that dealership survey will be marked "to the far right" as they always ask.

The wife called yesterday also, but talked to the receptionist about our frustration. She told the wife that if we don't hear something by 11 am, call her back and she will escalate it via different channels...

That is pretty crappy :( hopefully you'll good your car soon! I would think they would want to get you the car as soon as possible so they can get all the money!
