Rendering of 2016 Camaro based on what we have seen.

I found this on Reddit and have not seen it here. What do you guys think?

Pretty close I think. Sleeker, smaller evolution of the 5th gen. I'm in

Like your speculation... especially the shortened overhangs and no fake gill slits. Come on 50th Anniversary Edition! (In 2017, I would think)

Nice, I like it. The front especially. Again I really wish this was getting released this year :/

The 2016 speculation rendering looks good, but I have to say that I actually think I like the side profile of the 2014 better because of its more muscular shape.

While I really like the size of the 2016 here (I wonder how close that is by the way...its been said that the wheelbase is likely the same or very close to the ATS) it just looks a bit softer than I hope for. I love the hard edges of the 5th gen.

For me, just a couple small changes would put it right up there, for instance I hope the bend in the lower side door is how I looks to be here instead of the softer rounded curve...

Overall, I like it. Though the way the hip line angles up so sharply and the rear tail lights give me a definite Genesis coupe vibe from the B pillar back, other than that, this render almost exactly matches the line drawing showcased in another thread. I have a few other quibbles, such as the lower door detail mentioned in the previous post, but I hope this is about a 90% interpretation of the real thing.

I hate to say it but that render reminds me of a 94 Celica.

I dont think the back wheel base will be so far pushed to the bumper... I know that the rendering is supposed give the appearance of the ATS platform.. but look at the photo above at the Ring...

2014 looks much better. Hate the smaller looking outside. Too much nissan in that look for me. 5th gen's were in a class of their own.

Personally, I really like the thinner C-pillar in this rendering, and I think it would result in improved rear visibility. BUT I'm not sure how well it really matches up with the camo-d car.

If that turns out to be accurate I am afraid I will be shopping Mustangs and Challengers come trade-in time.

I am thinking with the rear window covered up they may have finally found a way to make it go down like the original concept. People were ticked off that it was fixed. Looks like they brought it forward a bit and shrunk it down. I am hoping so. Would really improve the looks from the side.
