I have 8.0 on my OnePlus 3T. I've had issues even before the update.
I'll connect and be enjoying a song or following my navigation, then for no reason, I get a blank screen on my car screen. I'll unplug and re-connect and it happens again. It's a viscous cycle.

Just of curiosity on my 1+ there is a setting under Android Auto for screen on. I have mine set to always on? Not sure but it is worth a look.

I've been using an official beta on my S8 of 8.0 (oreo) for a few weeks now. No change in behavior that i've seen compared to nougat.
All working fine. |
