It's a 5th gen with a different front clip. I really hope the 6th gen doesn't resemble that in any way.

It looks like Rocky after a few rounds of getting hit in the face.

I think the 2016 will be mechanically superior to the current gen but if that's what it winds up looking like on the outside, I'll be scouring dealerships for a low-mileage 2013.

i looked at the new issue of Entertainment Weekly last night and Michael Bay was talking about the Camaro for the movie and he said GM is 'shrinking the Camaro" so i wondered how much inside info he got while they were building that car.

It was a little jarring at first, but it looks like a further evolution of the 2014 to me. The front end is softer, but i kind of like the headlights actually. I'd buy one, just so long as they leave the black body cladding off the car. If you're going to build a bulky car, own it. Down try to hide it by black stuff out like i'm seeing on lots of cars and SUV's lately.

Michael Bay is probably pissed because it can't hold as many explosive devices or laser lights in a smaller body...

If that's the case, then I'm buying either a Hellcat Challenger or looking for a Z28 in 2016 when I start looking for a new car.

Looks like a very strong possibility to me for the Gen6, though not very original looking. It looks like a toy; overly futuristic. Maybe the retro thing is played out, but this is too much the other way. Seems like GM would reach out to boomers and gen X a little more.

Looks a lot like some prototypes they had out a few years back I think this is what the 6th gen could look like but in a differnt body

I hate the hood gills on the dodge viper and I definitely hate them on this camaro. They just freak me out for some reason.

Buy a 2014-15 then. If the 6th Gen resembles that which looks like a refresh of the '14-15 then I lose hope and will be getting a Hellcat and or a 2013 ZL1 depending on performance #s.

The only thing promising are the wheels and the technology of the headlights.

No. The headlights look like someone that has bags under the eyes. Just no.

I just saw a Valero (gas station) commercial with some Transformers tie-in. Featured the prototype driving around that somehow "transforms" into a 2014 at the gas pump.

The way things are looking, I would not be at all surprised if this will be very close to the 2016. I wouldn't be surprised, just disappointed.

Oh here's the YouTube link:
