I plan to change my plugs this spring, going with the stock ones. Nothing has shown to be any better.

The stock ones are good like they said above. I was told they're also iridium plugs, shockingly.

I have a twin turbo LLT and though I found the A/C plugs to be very good, as I went up in boost from 7 to 10 PSI, I would occasionally experience misses, so I switched to the MSD 5, PN 3743 and never experienced any issue since. So for me, the MSD is the plug I will continue using. Different strokes for different folks. I plan on purchasing the newly released Accel part #140569 super coil for the V-6's! About time someone came out with these! That should make the ignition system bullet proof. ($367.00 for 6, from Jegs)

Absolutely stick with OEM. Here at the dealer many issues are solved by taking out random aftermarket plugs that customers have put in thinking they were putting "super" plugs in and going to run better.

Send us your info and we can get you the best price for your ACdelco plugs. Most are in stock and ready to ship same day!

Any nitrous, supercharger, or turbos? If not, just stay with AC Delco as others mentioned.

I agree. If you are none boosted, for sure, A/C is perfect. In fact for FI up to 7 PSI, again, A/C. But up from there and some may experience a miss from time to time. As for me, I experienced too many stumbles and after trying a number of other plugs, I found the MSD to eliminate the miss in my particular build. I have water injection which did not help things either. 18,000 miles on the MSD's and zero misses/stumbles at 10-11 PSI with water. Others may have great success with the A/C's with the higher PSI boost, so it could be a fluke in my build, so I am not saying that MSD's are necessarily better, they just took care of my issue. I always try to stay with factory parts, where possible, due to the tremendous R & D, as well as the quality.

3.6 GMPH Tune Ups

Also keep in note Alice you can run the LF3 Twin Turbo plugs. We don't have exact ranges for temps and stats on these VS. the standard plug however it is being used on the boosted factory application with no issues.

Boosted or Not... The 3.6 is prone to ignition misfire originating from the ignition system and should be addressed as routine maintenance. Nature of the Beast. You want to catch this early so you don't damage your Catalytic Converters.

LLT / LFX Tune Up Kits $300.00
  • (6) OE Ignition Coils
  • (6) OE Spark Plugs
  • INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  • ADD $99 OE High Pressure Fuel Pump

Was not aware of that particular plug. Something new coming out all the time. Thanks for the information. In the future, I might give them a try. And your LLT/LFX tune up kit is a real deal!!! Nice to know that.
