12K miles. Fronts are in good shape still. Rears are bald. I'm sure the rears were just defective .

I have been through 3 sets of rears - only got about 15-17K on each set. Fronts lasted about 30-35K. I just bought 4 BFG comp2s. I like them better.
The Pirellis start going bald as soon as you buy them. |

I think thats what happened with me too. I got 23,000 miles out of mine before I blew a rear tire. Not a single burnout besides squawking them once in a while.

34 thousand but really should have been done at 30. Had lots of fun sliding the ass end around. They would break loose with just a slight flick of the steering wheel going through turns.

In one word AWESOME ... I put a set on both my SS and Sky, and they are great on both cars. The ride has improved 100% in both wet and dry.

Based on the replies it looks like 20,000 +/_ miles on average.
For those who put anything but Pirellis are you happy with your tires? |

I got 36 out of my first set. Second set, the rears went quicker than that and I drove more conservatively with them. Have BFGs now.
P Zero's are only tread rated 220 and the BFG's are rated 340 meaning they have higher durability and will last longer. They aren't quite as quiet as the Pirellis but seem to handle and ride better.

2012 2LT M6 V6 - 20" stock tires I got roughly 21k on the rears and a little over 39k on the fronts... Just replaced the front 2 days ago.. Went Nitto Motivo all the way around, we shall see how they hold up. Reaars have aprox 18k on them and look ok so far.
Also, it's a DD roughly 120 mile roundtrip commute daily freeway driving. |
