turbo kit-manifold help

im looking to piece together a turbo kit for my 2011 camaro ss (ls3). i already have a lock on 2 6266 precision turbos, intercooler, waste gates, and bov. all im looking for now is the turbo manifolds. rest of the piping will be taken care of by my shop.

does anyone know where i can get these manifolds for a good price?

Most(IPS, TTi, Hellion even STS) of the TT setup use the stock exhaust manifolds. But, if you want to mount them in the front(engine compartment) then check out Stainless Works as they sell forward facing headers especially for people wanting to install turbos.

Their products have changed lately, and are either made overseas, or they are doing it exactly the same way. I've stopped buying from them as the last parts had to be sent back. If you buy any of the cheap ones, get them coated first to give them a chance at surviving.

you can use just a stock manifold, if your going to use headers and do a rear mount coat or wrap the headers. The cast manifold holds in the heat lots better than a header does is why so many use them.

well nothing really. you said its a custom TT kit that your doing so you just make them work. The only issue with the stock camato manifold is the cats right off the end of them, we dont like putting cats before turbos as they can come apart and then take out your turbo. lots of people use a truck manifold and flip them upside down, we have not tried this yet on a camaro to see if it would fit. if you run the turbos down low after the manifolds then you need to get a good oil pump. I would recommend the Turbo Worx pump. you can get ONE pump and scavenge both turbos with it.

Something else you may look into is a Stock replacement Shorty header. BBK makes one. this is how we did a turbo kit a year or so ago. turbos mount low under motor. Worked good made good power.

Did you get yours heat treated? I know they are a lot easier to crack than stock headers.

We sell the Stainless Works up and forward tubular Turbo Headers if that interests you.

Stainless Works Headers need major modifications for the 5th gen camaro to fit. We use them in our single front mount turbo kit.You can purchase just the forward facing headers from us already modified ready to bolt on.
