It's estimated numbers. It is also going to be lighter than current Corvettes so you may not need more HP....

I especially like the comparison they made to competitors...
(I'm paraphrasing)

"At 2000 rpms our competitors are producing 200-250 tq...at 2000 rpms, the new Corvette will be producing at least 400 lbs tq"

Weight?

Wow I am truly stunned. Bravo GM and all of its employees for creating this. The article talked alot about weight reduction but does anyone know what the full weight of the car is?

Or the MSRP?

Its ok i guess, I just hate the rear end, shape is still the same, front looks like a Ferrari, but it rack up some killer performance numbers! That Red One is a beauty, wonder what the Z07 will look like? Just wish it were the same design like the Transformer Stingray...Now that was so damn sexy that i almost wet my pants lol.

I still think that the 1LE & ZL1 are Best Bang For Buck Cars!

Don't think my car will make 400 lbs until around 3500 to 4000 rpm. Dunno, dont have the dyno sheet in front of me.

I am sure this motor will work its way down to the Camaro, probably with 5 or so less HP, the question will be will it wait for the 6th Gen Camaro?

And just WHAT does that mean Mr. PQ..

Better take that back or someone's gonna find a belt and pulley missing off their Maggie..

Overall, an awesome looking design. IMHO, the rear end looks killer, the sides and hood really sharp but not real crazy about the grille; looks a little like a mid-90's Chrysler/Dodge something or other.
