Nothing against anyone driving a V6, but if you want the power you have to pay the dealership and pay at the gas pump. I don't regret it one night, I go to bed smiling and I do feel for my own situation I did the right thing.

In time you may upgrade too.
Damn, NOW that's a badazz ride!

Congrats!

I will play the waiting game......................

I've been in the same shoes as. I bought what may have been the first Camaro 6 in Houston December 4, 2015. A few days later I started to feel let down and that I should've just waited as it was too quiet and missing some power. Well I went to Miami a few days and had been in Puerto Rico for a week and missed my maro so i rented one, the company didn't have any v6s and ended up upgrading me to an SS. Nice car, nice drive but it killed my buyers remorse. After 3 days in the SS, I no longer felt like I was missing out, boy do I love the sound but for the price and gas I burned, I'm back to happy with my v6.

Now i do, and love my SS... but i can honestly say i had more fun in the 2014 v6 than in my 2016 v8. The v8 is too much power for the streets. The v6 is just enough to be able to go wide-open-throttle as often as you want and maneuver as you wish... Due to the excessive power of the v8, if you drive WOT, you end up at the peak speed to quickly to enjoy it.

To some extent, i actually have buyers remorse going for the v8 lol. I cant be pleased, i guess...
Trade with Zack, 2 problems solved

You could trade it in for the same color SS ... They would probably never know the difference!

No buyer's regret. I chose to go with a high end RS with all the bells and whistle when I could have bought a 1SS but I have no regrets.

I surely understand the dilemma, but as someone else has already mentioned, the performance potential of this car will certainly put you in jail. And...yes, the V8 will get you to 60 in right at 4 seconds...lol, but in my town 60 is 5 mph over the city speed limit or more. I was stopped not long ago for doing 55 in a 40 mph zone. I thought it was impossible until I reviewed my drive using my dash cam...the cop was right. He gave me a verbal warning to watch my speed "in that fast car", and I am doing just that. What a shame to waste that enjoyment...shoulda got a V6...lol.

I got factory nav and sunroof that I wish I had scrapped to save around $20-$30/mo. I wans't sure how reliable Apple Carplay would be (it's great) and the sunroof is just so rarely going to get used.

MRC I still go back and forth on. It's truly a cool feature but if the stock suspension was tuned between sport/touring, I think I would have been fine.

But the car is just phenomenal. Better to regret having a few too many features than always wondering what could've been.

So now I'm pretty much sol because in opinion GM screwed their customers by not letting us upgrade and the defrost vent issue. Ugh but still love the car.
No gift receipt in case it didn't fit quite right? It's the thought that counts I guess. But you don't buy a car guy a car without knowing EXACTLY what he wants.

I could not afford the 2SS, so like yourself I went with ALL of the bells and whistles (EXCEPT for the NPP exhaust) and got the 2LT pretty much loaded. I have no regrets with any of the options I got. My options totaled $8835. With this being my first Camaro I definitely wanted all of the safety features: rear park assist, rear cross traffic alert, side blind zone alert with lane change alert. Oh, yeah, and position my mirrors correctly helps as well......................

I haven't purchased a car in years. I can say this. I've never felt any buyers remorse because I spent a lot of time thinking about it beforehand. I had the opportunity over a year ago to pick up a 2015 ZL1. I passed on it in hopes of the next gen car. It is an awesome ride. For me personally I'd have been disappointed since I like the new car even more. Notice I didn't say it's better. I said I like it more. The important thing is liking what you have. Some people go through life dreaming about what they want instead of enjoying what they already have. Be thankful for what you have been given in life.

In a way, I get what the OP is saying. I pick my car up tonight. It was a factory order of a '16 that turned into a '17.

When I re-ordered the '17 car, I had the chance to add MRC, and I didn't. In hindsight, I wish I did.....Oh well....
