CAI Intake

Has anyone dyno'd their Camaro before and after installing the CAI cold air intake? They claim a 16 rwhp increase, but I want to know if anyone has verified on their own vehicle.

It has been done many time by many different members. CAI Inc's performance numbers are very accurate.

Their claimed gains are accurate. We have seen it for ourselves on our Dyno.

Best regards,

We actually advertise very conservative dyno numbers, especially when you look at some of the gains reported by some of our competitors. Like our ZL1 CAI for instance, we advertise 19 rwhp gain on our website even though we have seen pulls with as much as 24 rwhp gains, and have heard of Speed Shops seeing even higher on their Dyno. If we say your going to get X amount of HP to the wheels, you can feel pretty confident you will actually gain that much or more.
