My V6 is loud

I don't know about my fellow V6 drivers, but my baby is loud! And it sounds good, too. My friends have sworn it's a V8, but that's just the power of the LFX! Does anyone else love the shocked looks on their faces?!

The LFX is underrated!

Great motor with quickness of direct injection. Rated at 324 HP from the factory it can hold it's own.

This isn't your grandpa's old style V6.....

From my experiences the LFX is a better engine than the LLT that I had in the past. But in no way does it sound like a V8.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Did you do any exhaust work, or is it stock?

An intake will make the LFX louder.

Mine has a nice growl to it, but the v8 is a much deeper sounding tone. I personally kind of like the euro sound it can put out sometimes, but nothing beats the roar of 8 cylinders. Respect the RS!

Honestly... My LFX sounded like a moped until I modified the exhaust. It sounds nice now, but definitely not like a V8.

Anything sounds nicer than a Honda though

Mine has a much deeper rumble that I had expected.

Mine is so quiet. Although it kind of is nice having my DD be a little on the quieter side

I'll probably do the full Solo exhaust system, cats and all, on it when I pay it off though. Curious how that will sound in person

I will be honest, a guy in a V8 Tundra at the gas station the other day said he didnt believe me when I told him I had the V6, he said it sure didnt sound like a V6. Made me feel really good the rest of the day.... I think the Magnaflows and SOLOs helped.... haha
