Wow that's a tough break. I have seen that alot of cosmetic Options are Delaying some cars pretty far. I remember seeing a few members that keep having their Delivery date pushed back due paint striping, or hood wraps for the 1le's. I hope mine doesn't fall into that category. The only cosmetic option I selected on my 2ss is the 1le ducklip spoiler, and a black fuel door. but if memory serves me correctly, I believe that is installed at the dealer. So we will see I guess. I hope mine is finally built this week after being 3-weeks after the TPW.

If it is built this week, I hope to be able to take delivery by the first week of May. But who knows...

I put a deposit down on a 2SS on 11/22/2021. I was close to giving up when I got this answer today from the chevrolet.com chatbot:

"Congratulations! Your vehicle has been produced. It is important to know that shipping arrangements will take place next and your selling dealer is the best source for additional detail on that process."

Next step:

I found a 2022 1SS 1LE on the Chevrolet website that states it is "in transit". I contacted the dealer and put money down to buy the car when it comes in. How can I find out where it is at and how much longer it will take to arrive at the dealer? All I have is the following VIN: 1G1FE1R72N0112705

Thanks for any help.

I was just in a similar situation. Dealers can sometimes find where it’s at, but no one - even GM - can tell you how much longer it will take. It’s a whole mess of train yards and trucking. I got an accurate arrival date call from my dealer a week out.

I’d say to save yourself some anxiety, accept that it will take a few weeks, and let yourself be surprised by a “good news!” phone call best of luck.

Thanks. That is exactly what I will do. I have special ordered two new vehicles in the past (1989 Ford F150 and 2000 BMW 325i), and I remember getting those phone calls that "your vehicle is in".
