rear snows front all-season

is anybody running snows in the rear and all seasons upfront.I'm thinking about saving a few bucks and going this route considering I have 4 extra all seasons.

IMO it's not a good idea. Every place I read about doing that said it's not a good idea, so I went with 4 winter tires. It's going to be awfully hard to steer the car when you lose traction.

Not normally a good idea to mix and match tire types.

It's like wearing a sandal on one foot and a boot on the other
